The transparent transmission module realizes the mutual conversion of TTL level signals and RS485 level signals, and 485 is half-duplex communication. This communication method can realize two-way communication, but cannot be performed simultaneously in two directions, and must alternately in turn. Each segment of the communication channel can be either a transmitting end or a receiving end, but at the same time, the information can only have one transmission direction. This module realizes the automatic flow direction control of RS485 signal, and the transmission and reception direction is automatically switched. This module is the same as the operation serial port.
It adopts original imported chip, industrial grade design, anti-interference type wiring and copper plating method, has high EMI and EMC, makes it strong anti-interference ability, and adopts powerful 485 bus lightning protection design. It can be used in industrial environments and in harsh outdoor environments. The transmission distance can reach up to kilometers (using 850 meters of 2*1.5 cables for testing, it is recommended to use within 800 meters, more than 800 meters for repeaters). When transmitting in the wild for long distances, the "connected earth" end of the module is connected to the earth, which can play a good anti-interference and lightning protection effect, making the 485 bus more secure; the indoor short-distance transmission can not be connected to the earth. With RXD, TXD signal indicator, the receiving and receiving status is unobstructed. It can be hot swapped without signal pinning.
